IoT Venture manages to continue German Accelerator U.S. Market Access Program

Thanks to impressive results achieved while participating in the German Accelerator Program, IoT Venture GmbH has managed to succeed in its application for the second part of this funding scheme.

IoT Venture GmbH succeeded in qualifying for German Accelerator funding program during a demanding application procedure back in January. Participation in the program was originally planned for five months. The aim was to establish the first high-potential contacts on the US market. Once this first phase was complete, the Darmstadt-based start-up managed to qualify for a second stage of the U.S. Market Access Program.

“We’re unbelievably impressed by your services and your commitment to entering the US market,” affirms Keshia Theobald-van Gent, Director of US Programs at German Accelerator. As part of the program, a team consisting of experienced mentors and experts actively assists the Darmstadt-based scale-up with local know-how and a wide variety of training events and workshops.

“The first phase of the program helped us to look at our products and services from the perspective of the US market and then adapt them accordingly,” explains Mario Schmitz, Head of Business Development at IoT Venture GmbH. “Now it’s a question of testing and establishing them with clients and investors. This is an exciting time, which our team is very much looking forward to.”

The German Entrepreneurship GmbH initiative is financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWi) and helps high-potential German start-ups with their international expansion. It is already celebrating ten years of existence this year, which it commemorated with a gala in Berlin on 3 June.
