IoT Venture in final round of European start-up awards

Darmstadt-based IoT Venture GmbH has two reasons to be pleased: The scale-up has been selected as a finalist for not just one but two European start-up awards. The company managed to impress the juries at both the South Summit Awards and the Micromobility Europe Startup Awards. IoT Venture will be competing for these coveted accolades at the respective pitch contests in Madrid and Amsterdam in early June.

Top 100 at the “South Summit Awards” 2023

A total of 4,500 applications from start-ups in 125 countries have been submitted to this year’s South Summit Startup Competition. IoT Venture has been selected as one of the 100 finalists. Selection took into account criteria such as degree of innovation, internal growth potential and investment capacity.

Divided into ten categories, the finalists will be making their pitch to international investors, executive managers, companies and others in Madrid’s La Nave innovation centre on 7 and 8 June 2023. Nominated in the Connectivity and Data category, IoT Venture will be represented by Holger Trautmann, co-founder of IoT Venture. “IoT Venture being among the top 100 finalists of the South Summit Awards means a great deal to us. We are pleased to form part of this unbelievable event,” declares Trautmann.

South Summit offers a key meeting point for innovative companies, start-ups and influential investors. Over the years, it has become one of the leading events on innovation. An award is presented to the most innovative start-up every year.

Micromobility Europe Startup Awards Final 2023

The Micromobility Startup Awards will be presented as part of Micromobility Europe 2023 for the first time this year. IoT Venture is one of the finalists. During the event, which takes place in Amsterdam on 8 and 9 June 2023, the finalists will be making their pitches to an expert jury for the title of European Startup of the Year in a total of 24 categories. Mario Schmitz, Head of Business Development, will be giving the pitch on behalf of IoT Venture on the Start-Up stage.

Micromobility Europe is one of the largest mobility conferences in Europe and offers start-ups, investors and companies in the sector a platform to exchange ideas and knowledge. The latest smaller e-vehicles such as e-bikes and scooters and new developments in the sector are presented here every year.
