The insurance requirement for e-bikes in the Netherlands stipulates that high-priced models and cargo bikes must be equipped with an activated Track & Trace module in order to be insured. This regulation applies to electric cargo bikes with a value of €3,500 or more and e-bikes with a value of €4,500 or more.

If your e-bikes are equipped with our module, they are also ready for the Connected insurance of the Dutch ENRA. When selling the e-bike, you or the dealer can point out the possibility of insurance. We recommend that you provide appropriate sales material to draw the customer's attention to this. We are happy to provide you with the relevant information and help you prepare the material. Would you like to sell your bikes directly from the factory as connected and insured? This is also possible and we can help you integrate insurance directly into your bikes through our partners.

The process is fully automated and connected to the Dutch alarm centers that work with ENRA to provide fast and efficient assistance in the event of a theft. After a theft is reported via the associated app, the Bike Hunter team immediately gets involved and assists with the recovery.
